A zoomorphic centerpiece, wheel-thrown in separate sections. The removable head, entirely hand-modeled, functions as a small cup, establishing a dialogue between utility and sculptural form. White glaze and hand-applied oxides highlight the volumes and texture of the plumage, emphasizing the piece’s three-dimensional presence.
Collection: Zoomorphic Owl Bottles
Italian Title: Bottiglia Gufo n. 1
One-of-a-kind piece. Handcrafted in Caronia, Sicily by Maestro Filadelfio Todaro. Once sold, this exact piece will not be remade.
This piece is handmade stoneware or terracotta, fired and glazed by the artist - small variations in glaze, texture, and form are part of each one-of-a-kind piece, not a flaw. Dust with a soft dry cloth; if the piece is glazed and safe to hold water, empty and dry it fully between uses rather than leaving water standing. Avoid sudden temperature changes and dishwasher/microwave use.
