A terracotta sculpture evoking the presence of an ox. Rounded volumes dominate its form, shaping both the body and the head. One leg is set slightly forward, leaving its ambiguous stance suspended between movement and poised stillness. The piece’s surface is achieved through the traditional engobe technique, in which successive layers of liquid clay are poured over the terracotta body before firing.
