A zoomorphic centerpiece, wheel-thrown in separate sections and entirely hand-modeled. The removable head can turn into a small cup, merging form and function. Cobalt blue oxides, hand-brushed over white glaze, enhance the plumage’s texture and exalt the sculptural depth of this vibrant piece.
Collection: Zoomorphic Owl Bottles
Italian Title: Bottiglia Gufo n. 3
One-of-a-kind piece. Handcrafted in Caronia, Sicily by Maestro Filadelfio Todaro. Once sold, this exact piece will not be remade.
This piece is handmade stoneware or terracotta, fired and glazed by the artist - small variations in glaze, texture, and form are part of each one-of-a-kind piece, not a flaw. Dust with a soft dry cloth; if the piece is glazed and safe to hold water, empty and dry it fully between uses rather than leaving water standing. Avoid sudden temperature changes and dishwasher/microwave use.
