This piece is made from full-grain Italian leather, which will develop its own patina with wear - that's expected, not a flaw. Keep it away from prolonged direct sun and moisture, wipe clean with a soft dry cloth, and condition occasionally with a leather-specific product. Store away from extreme heat when not in use.
